American Legion Post 221 Bi-Annual Bull Roast
August 22 from 12 PM until 4 PM located at 21690 Colton Point Rd, Avenue, Maryland. All you can eat! On the menu is charcoal grilled sliced beef and minced beef bar-b-que, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw and applesauce. Adults and carryout $18.00, $15.00 for advanced ticket sales, children 6-12 $8.00 each and 5 and under are free. Music is being provided by "Spoon Creek". For discount tickets call 301-769-2220. All proceeds benefit Legion programs.
24th Annual Chaptico Classic
Saturday, August 28, 2010 starting at 8 AM. 5K, 10K road race, and fun walk through the streets of Chaptico and kids race. This year's race is dedicated to our very own LaRue Redmond.
