Consisting of approximately 300 members, the church congregation strives to live by the message and lessons of Christ, in which there are no outcasts and all are welcome. Our congregation represents a diverse cross-section of society, consisting of persons of all backgrounds, ages, income levels, and spiritual enlightenment.
The Episcopal Church itself walks a middle line between Roman Catholicism and Protestant traditions. We are a sacramental, worship-oriented church that promotes thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and be, as followers of Christ. We take great pride in our church worship services and consider them to be the focal point of our Christian life.
Today the Church's quiet beauty bears witness to the devotion of many generations who have cherished and supported Christ Church, Chaptico, and who left us their legacy of faith and fellowship.
