A Word About Our Services
Christ Church has several regularly scheduled weekly services. They are on Sunday at 8:00 & 10:30AM and a 6:30PM, and Wednesday at 7:15 AM.
The Sunday 8 o'clock service is the Holy Eucharist, Rite I, and is conducted without music.
The Sunday 10:30 service is the Holy Eucharist, Rite II, and includes a choir, acolytes, Eucharistic lay minister, and lesson reader. Because most families attend this service, the young people are often asked to participate in the service.
The Sunday 6:30pm service is a Sung Vespers / Evening Prayer with Eucharist featuring contemplative, easy-to-learn music. That, and plenty of candles. The service is ideal for those who missed Sunday morning worship, and for anyone seeking additional, quieter and more reflective worship at the end of the day and the beginning of the week.
Wednesday services are the Holy Eucharist, Rite II, with homily. In addition to these regularly scheduled services, there are many others which celebrate events on the liturgical calendar, such as Christmas, Easter, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, etc.
