Celebrate With A Family Night Out!

Wednesday, June 11

5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

This is a special invitation to all Christ Church families to join with the Wednesday evening Book Study group for a pot luck dinner on June 11 beginning 5:00 p.m.  Let’s celebrate the successful close of the school year and the beginning of the summer holiday for our young ones!  If the weather permits we will work on a container garden project to help beautify our Parish Hall for the summer months.  Please RSVP how many will attend and let us know if you would like to bring a small potted plant to be included in the “butterfly habitat” container garden. 

The following plants are a suggestion:
 
Perennials
 
  • Black-eyed Susan
  • Asters
  • Purple coneflower
  • Yarrow
  • Sedum Autumn joy
Herbs
 
  • Dill
  • Fennel
  • Catmint
  • Lavender


 
The above are only suggestions…..please come with or without a plant in hand!  We’ll have plenty to plant.  We will discuss a plan to monitor our habitat and solicit some help on Sundays to check and make sure the container garden is getting enough water!
